It’s Sunday night… it’s nearly Christmas… I’m in Tier 4 COVID Lockdown in the UK… which basically means the only thing you can do is play guitar, drink beer, wrap presents… and wait for more Amazon deliveries. So – I thought I’d share what I’ve been working on. Today I’ve tabbed I Am One by Smashing Pumpkins. It’s been requested so many times I needed to get it done! It’s a beast… loads of layered guitars… but I think I’m just about there. Tabbing it is one thing… now I need to learn to play it…! That’s another one to do over the Christmas holiday. Last day at work is tomorrow so plenty of time to record some great tunes.

I currently have 4 songs tabbed ready to learn and record:

 – I Am One – Smashing Pumpkins

 – Reel Around The Fountain – The Smiths (so difficult to play – Marr is a genius!)

 – Can’t Stand Me Now – The Libertines

 – Dogs – Pink Floyd… (all 17 minutes of it!)

That’s 4 tunes that say a lot about my music taste! Can’t wait to record them… but need to finish work first so I can get time to record them.  After that… what to learn next….???
